Course Description

Professional Communications blends written, oral, and graphic communication in a career-based environment. Careers in the global economy require individuals to be creative and have a strong background in computer and technology applications, a strong and solid academic foundation, and a proficiency in professional oral and written communication. Within this context, students will be expected to develop and expand the ability to write, read, edit, speak, listen, apply software applications, manipulate computer graphics, and conduct Internet research.

Classroom Rules and Expectations

All students are expected to follow all safety rules and directions.  Student's must have respect for each other as well as respect for themselves.

Grading Policies 

Participation Grade will be based on the following:

1. Attitudes to cooperate and follow directions as well as attitude toward fellow students.

2. Work ethic in class as well as quality of work performed.

3. Daily work will count for 60%.

Major Test Grades:

Major test will count as 40%
